Biocompatibility Testing

We offer serum biocompatibility testing to determine if certain dental materials are reactive to the immune system of an individual. Our biocompatibility test evaluates over 10,000 dental materials in 23 different categories.

Dental materials have a potential to cause stress to an individual's immune system  because they are recognized by the body as a foreign material.

Biocompatibility testing allows patients to avoid immediate and long-term health complications such as allergic reactions, failed restorations, chronic low-grade inflammation and worsening of auto-immune conditions.

This test is available to anyone with a general concern for systemic health. However, we strongly recommend biocompatibility testing for our patients who have chronic health conditions and immune sensitivity.
